Michael Gregg is President of IMA Advisors, based in our Denver office. He joined IMA in 2023 to lead the creation of this new division focused on delivering integrated financial services that complement the firm’s core insurance brokerage offerings. IMA Advisors currently includes IMA Retirement (a retirement plan advisor), IMA Private Wealth (serving individuals and families), Syntrinsic (a boutique investment advisor to nonprofits, foundations & endowments), and RedRidge (a financial diligence firm).
Prior to joining IMA, his career included senior leadership roles in wealth management, asset management, and insurance at firms including BlackRock, AXA Group, The Hartford, and most recently, Partners Group, where he served on multiple portfolio company boards, in addition to his roles on the private equity and private debt investment committees. He began his career at McKinsey & Company, where he spent the bulk of his first professional decade.
He serves on the Board and is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain, promoting financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship in middle and high school students. He holds a BA in Economics and Psychology from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
